Pet Medical Assistance Program

The Friends of the Salina Animal Shelter, Inc. has made it their mission to provide spay/neuter surgeries, medical care and assistance to the animals in the community that belong to families in need. Where funds and regulations allow, we are able to provide financial assistance for those who cannot otherwise afford medical care for their pets and have genuine financial need. To apply, please come to the Salina Animal Shelter at 329 N. 2nd Street along with proof of income or simply call Salina Animal Shelter at (785) 826-6535 to leave a message for a volunteer to call you.

Animals must be spayed or neutered in order to receive assistance, either previously or during the requested appointment.
